Written by New York Times bestselling author Keith Elliot Greenberg, the book is a minute-by-minute account of that tragic day, tracking all of the events leading up to the horrible moment when Mark David Chapman calmly fired his Charter Arms .38 into the rock icon – a shocking act of violence the world is still coming to grips with.

The List Gets An Update

Rolling Stone Magazine is about to release another collector’s issue which contains the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The list was updated recently after it was first compiled and released in 2004.

The Beatles, not surprisingly, have the most number of songs on the list with 23 songs. The Rolling Stones finished second with 14 songs on the list. What may be surprising – and certainly validates those who claim the best music came from the 50's, 60's and 70's – is the fact only one song from the 80's and one from the 90's made the Top 50.

What is NOT surprising is the fact our listeners are really cool. When we ran our own survey for the Best Song of The 50's, you selected Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry. That song is the highest rated song from that decade on Rolling Stone's list. When we asked you to select the Best Song of The 60's, you chose Bob Dylan's Like A Rolling Stone. That epic finished very high on Rolling Stone's list. How high? Click the blue Read More (just below) and find out because we've got their top 50 on the inside.

The Not So 'Logical' Tour?

Former Supertramp frontman Roger Hodgson has slammed the band's decision to reunite for a 40th anniversary tour without him.

Rick Davies, who founded the progressive rock band with Hodgson, has announced Supertramp will play 35 concerts in the fall of 2010. Dates have been announced for concerts in Germany, Portugal, Holland, Italy and France. The tour will be named "70-10" to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the group's first release.

Hodgson, who quit the group in 1983, is furious he was never invited to take part.
